It depends on the strain of mushroom, but figure on 5- 8 weeks from start to harvest.

How many mushrooms can I expect to get?

Our 10-Gallon Aquarium Kit produces around a pound and our Magic Greenhouse Kits average over 10 pounds of mushrooms a month (wet weight).

When I harvest the mushrooms is that it? What do I do to grow more?

The thickest crop is the first one. This is the first flush. As they mature you will see small mushrooms just starting to appear. Pick the first crop carefully so you disturb the small ones as little as possible. You may get up to five flushes, but each one will have fewer mushrooms than the one before. When all of the nutrients are used up you will have to replace the growing medium and re-inoculate it.

Most kits go by UPS. We ship some items by U S Mail. We use plain cardboard boxes with only a shipping label.
