McMagic Fast Food for Mushrooms

McMagic is a high-protein food source for mushrooms grown on wheat straw. While pasteurized wheat straw is a convenient growing medium for many mushrooms, it lacks the protein that healthy mushrooms need.

Chopped Wheatstraw

A lot of customers have told us they are having trouble finding wheatstraw and when they do it is a lot of trouble to shred it, the way mushrooms need it. We have wheatstraw year 'round now, and have run it through our shredder. Just right for your mushrooms. 1/3 of a bale, chopped fine, just the right amount for your Magic Greenhouse.

Magic Casing Soil

If your mushrooms need casing soil this is the best. This is a mixture of Canadian sphagnum peat moss, vermiculite, and limestone grit/flour that we use and recommend. We balance the pH so it's just right. Layer this over your substrate.

Magic Malt Yeast Agar

Developed by a Ph.D. mycologist (mushroom scientist). The best mix we have ever used.
